CHAPTER I 
INTRODUCTION

 

1.        Background

 

In this modern era, the role of architecture and interior in creating a functional, aesthetic, and comfortable environment is increasingly receiving serious attention. Architecture and interiors have an important role in influencing human interaction with their environment. In this context, this proposal aims to delve deeper into architectural and interior design concepts that can create spaces that not only meet practical needs, but are also able to stimulate visual and emotional experiences for its occupants.

Through a holistic approach, this proposal will explore various important aspects of architectural and interior design, including material selection, spatial arrangement and lighting.

In its implementation, this proposal will involve collaboration between architectural experts and interior designers to create holistic and integrated solutions. In addition, the proposal will also explore innovative concepts that can change the traditional way of thinking about architectural and interior design.

 

2.    About Us

Contemporary Arechitecture is a company engaged in   planning and building design consultants that has been established since 2023 in the city of Semarang.  Design services   offered by Contemporary Arechitecture include designs for residential houses and other buildings with the provision that the building has a maximum of 3 floors. Contemporary Arechitecture provides services in the form of complete working drawings according to  consumer demand. The main target of this service is industry, companies and individuals who need building design services.   Armed with knowledge   about design in the field of architecture, the  drawings to be  produced will be in accordance with     calculations and  consumer demand. Although this company has not been established for a long time, we are still optimistic that it will enter and be able to compete in the design market due to the considerable demand. In the future, Contemporary Arechitecture will focus our   company  on building relationships with other  businesses so that  our company  can get more ideas and put forward  The hallmark of  our company is to realize consumer desires through benguna design

Note :

It has been agreed that the service provider and owner choose service package No. 4, namely 2-storey building covering an area of more than 100 m², processing time of 5 days at a cost of Rp. 20,000.00/m². If the building area is 150 m², then the total costs incurred:

150 x IDR 200,000.00 = IDR 3,000,000.00

 

 Payment System  :

1.     Down payment / down payment 25% of the total agreed price.

2.     Term 1 payment is 25% when the design drawings are approved.

3.     Term 2  payment is 50% when the drawing has been completed.


2.    Production Stages

1.        Consultation Phase and Fees

 This stage is conducted questions and  answers between customer service and clients  to understand the needs and desires that clients like while budgeting the cost of design services from clients. 

The more information obtained from the client, the easier the architect will understand the client's wishes. The information needed usually starts from land area, facility  needs,  models,  building  concepts and so on

2.        Design Concept

At this stage the architect will make design preparations which include checking all data and  information  received,  making analysis and  processing of data so that all needs,  development requirements, purposes, and development goals can be fulfilled perfectly.   

Architects create design concepts that form the basis of  thought and consideration of  all related fields (structural,  mechanical,  electrical, etc.).

3.        Draft Designing

 Draft design  is a  process that aims to create a simple outline of design results by manual or other means.

 

4.       Pre  Design Plan

The architect and client  will be in intense contact  to  discuss all the ideas and ideas that the client has in order to get an initial home design. 

The architect will create schematic drawings that will later be explained in detail to the client. The result of making this pre-planned  house design  is a picture of the  lay out floor plan, the appearance of the building  and the pieces of  the building.

         

       

5.        Working Drawing / Design Creation

At this stage the Architect Team will translate things   that have been produced in the previous stages into detailed drawings and technical descriptions, so that the    resulting documents can  later explain the implementation process  and supervision of construction to be carried out.

 The resulting technical documents   are working drawings,  material specification documents, construction engineering requirements, calculation of the quantity of work, and clear,    detailed, and accurate estimates of the cost of implementing development.

6.       Revision

At this stage, the client will see whether the design made is in accordance with his  wants and needs. If the design results  are not appropriate  , the  revision process will be carried out immediately to produce a design that is in accordance with the wishes of the client.

 

     7.  Final Design

At this stage, the designer will prepare the output needs based on the final design. At this stage, the designer will also  re-examine  the  design results  to reduce the risk of errors.
